They dream performances! This is what happened on the night of 5 May 2021: Valerian dreamed that he had realised a ‘distance’ performance in Berlin with Klara and his Bern Sound Arts students: "For two courtyards, separated by a firewall". The piece took place in a Berlin courtyard or backyard, separated from the other backyard by a three-metre-high firewall. Structured and arranged according to acoustic properties, they threw objects over the firewall into the empty neighbouring courtyard, which they had previously collected from the streets of Berlin, from bulky waste and fished out of the neighbouring banks of the Spree. Klara continued dreaming on the night of 10 May 2021: she dreamt that she had found many umbrellas in a cupboard that were meant to be whirled high into the air.
